Rosalie, Please leave me your E-mail address,so I can respond. Need some Dates, of arrival. Where did they live in the US? Names 1st and last of your GGrand Parents and Grandparents. You are in luck, with a 1920's arrival of your Grandmother, the 1901 & 1911 Census records are on line. Also Civil Registration of birth started in 1864, so their birth, marriage and death will be recorded.
The information you provided here's extremely precious. It turned out a really pleasurable surprise to have that waiting for me while i awakened today. These are constantly to the issue and simple to be aware of. Thanks quite a bit for the valuable ideas you've got shared in this article.
Hey any idea if i might be related to this Thomas McQuaid? My great grandfather Francis McQuaid came to NY in 1920. Lists his contact person on the passenger list as T. McQuaid living in Dromore and address has "Grannon, M(something ineligible, Ire" ?
Kelsey, Please use the e-mail function on the HomePage to give me more ino on your family. The 1911 census of Dromore could give info.
Kelsey, There are 2 pages for the 1820 arrival in New York of Francis J. McQuaid. The 2nd page states, this is his 2nd time in the United States, the first time he stayed 15 years. He is going to see Mrs C. Minnerly and planning on staying 10 yrs. He was born in Millick, Ireland. The first page states his last residence was Dromore, Tyrone. There is no Millick in Ireland, but there is a Millix in Tyrone. In Errigal Keerogue Parish, Dungannon PLU. South of Dromore. I found his departure from New York and arrival in Liverpool in 1917, so he first came to the US Abt 1900 + or - a few years. On Ancestry.com see 1920 arrival (scroll to 2nd page) http://interactive.ancestry.com/7488/NYT715_2750-0261/4015972360?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.com%2f%2fcgi-bin%2fsse.dll%3findiv%3d1%26db%3dnypl%26rank%3d1%26new%3d1%26MSAV%3d1%26gss%3dangs-d%26gsfn%3dFran*%26gsln%3dMcQuaid%26msbpn__ftp%3dIreland%26msbpn%3d3250%26msbpn_PInfo%3d3-%257c0%257c1652381%257c0%257c3250%257c0%257c0%257c0%257c0%257c0%257c0%257c%26msady%3d1920%26msady_x%3d1%26msapn__ftp%3dNew%2bYork%252c%2bUSA%26msapn%3d35%26msapn_PInfo%3d5-%257c0%257c1652393%257c0%257c2%257c3244%257c35%257c0%257c0%257c0%257c0%257c%26msapn_x%3dXO%26msapn__ftp_x%3d1%26dbOnly%3d_F0006F0E%257c_F0006F0E_x%26uidh%3dj66%26pcat%3dIMG_PASSLISTS%26fh%3d0%26h%3d4015972360%26recoff%3d8%2b10%26ml_rpos%3d1&ssrc=&backlabel=ReturnRecord#?imageId=NYT715_2750-0261 Here is the 1917 departure from new York http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?rank=1&new=1&MSAV=1&gss=angs-c&gsfn=Francis&gsln=McQuaid&msbdy=1885&msbpn__ftp=Ireland&msrpn__ftp=New+York&msady=1920&msady_x=1&msapn__ftp=New+York%2c+USA&msapn=35&msapn_PInfo=5-%7c0%7c1652393%7c0%7c2%7c3244%7c35%7c0%7c0%7c0%7c0%7c&cpxt=1&uidh=j66&msbdp=5&msadp=5&_83004003-n_xcl=f&cp=8&pcat=40&h=29776462&db=BT26&indiv=1&ml_rpos=1

Pat McCusker, Kelsey was looking at a record that was referencing the townland of Greenan in Kilskerry Parish. The Millick was Trilick. Her ancestor leased land in both Lifford and Greenan. Are your McCusker's from Dromore? I have run across many McCuskers in my family tree.
